Edwin in Miami

Hey!

Today I made a embossing card.

Cardbase is off white linen cardstock. Love this new embossingfolder. The cute stamp is Edwin in Miami from the Magnolia Summer Memories Collection. I colored him with promarkers. On the left side I adhered a strip with a doily edge on both sides and in the middle a strip of cardstock with a embossed dutch sentiment.

Pastels

Hey!

Today it is such strange weather, that I decided to make a birthday card.

This time I wanted to use pastels. Love the softness of the colors and de sparkling of the glitters.
I used doilies, doily edges, butterflies, sentiment, tilda stamp, promarkers, glitterglue and ribbons.

Eindelijk Vakantie

Hey!!

Finally our summer vacation has started!!

Today I made this card using one of my fav images of Tilda.
Items used to make this card:
White linen cardbase, patterned paper, pieces of dry embossed pink cardstock, Cream doily die cut, pink doily die cut, white butterfly die cut, white mulberry roses, tag die cut, punched butterflies in different sizes, dutch sentiment.
Techniques used:
I colored the image with promarkers, gave the glass some shine with glossy accents, distressed the edges of the patterned paper and made some faux stitching with a white gelpen.

From Holland with Love

Hey!

I read on the Sassy Studio Designs Blog about their Small World Blog Hop and since I never made a card with love from my country I decided to make a card for the little challenge attached to this hop. I also want to enter this card to the challenge Anything Goes at Simon Says Stamps Challenge Blog.

The card base is white linen cardstock, I adhered some punched out circles to create the colors of our flag. Because our country is known for our tulips, mills and wouden shoes (we really don't wear them, but often tourist think we do) I adhered half a mill on the side of the card, I love the sentiment. The image is from Sassy Studio Designs and it's called Soda Pop. You can find this and many more lovely images in the SSD's digistore.

Summertime

Hey!

Wow, this is the first week of sunshine this summer. It's hot and I had to make this beach card ;-)
I can't stay in the sun to long because of my allergy.

It's a simple card. The image is masked. The background is a magnolia stamp and the lady reading is a digi called Magazine Margie from Sassy Studio Designs. I used distress ink to stamp the border a half round sentiment and a little silver charm and some glossy accents for the litte sun.

Today I made this card using a new tilda stamp.

Cardbase is off white linen cardstock, on top is a embossed mat and a piece of gauze, some buttons, a piece of a messuring tape. I distressed it all with wallnut stain.

Crown Easel Card

Today I made this crown easel card with a baby Edwin image from the Magnolia Princes & Prinsesses Collection 2012. He's so cute!

Cardbase is a white cardstock, that I made into a crown easel card. Used a stars embossing folder for the crown, some lace border stickers, headpins, charms, star punch, star bling, a dutch sentiment and some satin ribbon.

Christmas in July

Today I made my fist christmas card this year. Strange to get in the christmas spirit in the summer... Lol...

I used a red linen cardbase and made my own background with white ink and christmas ornaments, some designer papers, doily, die cut, 2 poinsettia with a green rose in the middle, a digi sentiment, green satin ribbon and a christmas tree charm.

Chasing Butterflies

Hey!

This morning I made a butterfly card using a template I made. The stamp is from Saturated Canary and is specially  because of the 8th aniversary of the club "Kaarten maken met Tiets".


The cardbase is pearlescent linen cardstock. The digi is called Chasing Butterflies and it's available in the Saturated Canary. I colored her with my promarkers and have a little silver charm dangling from the butterfly net. Punched some butterflies in different sizes, adhered pink bling in the flowercenters of the embossed butterfly background. The sentiment is from Marianne and I made the little roses with a Joy Crafts cutting die.

Happy Birthday

Hey!

Het is zulk druilerig weer, dat het een prima dag is om wat te gaan freubelen.

Vandaag eindelijk begonnen aan de Candysketch van Marianne, die ze nav haar verjaardag op 17 juli heeft staan op haar blog.


Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van een witte 15x15 kaart, rose en groene cardstock en designerpapier.
Verder heb ik zelf beadsprays gemaakt als embellishments, marianne design stans en een scallop nesting die en ipv een uitgestanste afbeelding, die ingekleurd is met promarkers, heb ik de mijne uitgeknipt en met foamtape erop geplakt. Dit keer heb ik gebruik gemaakt van Tilda with a gift for you van de nieuwste magnolia stempelserie.

Deze kaart wil ik indienen bij de volgende uitdagingen:

Link Up for Pink

Hey!

Every year I make a card for my dear friend who is fighting breast cancer. Can't wait till the day she will hear that she's cancer free. 

The cardbase is white linen cardstock, I embossed a pink piece and made a fuchsia border with a doily punch, on top of that I adhered a piece of embossed black linen cardstock. I don't know who the artist is of the cute bra (if somebody knows please tell me!) I colored it with fuchsia an pink and adhered some black pearl chains as the straps, on the fuchsia pinhead is dangling a hope ribbon charm. I finished the card of with a thinking of you digi sentiment from Netty.

Ballerina Tilda

Hey!

Today I made this card for a color challenge at elke dag een feestje. The color combo I choose is Black/Fuchia/Purple.

Cardbase is white linen cardstock, image is called Ballerina Tilda from Magnolia's Fairytale & Pirates Collection 2010, I sticked some glossy accents on the little tiara and purple stickles on de edges of the edges of the dress, some fuchsia and black cardstock, purple lace and flowers and a happy birthday sentiment. Love this color combo.

Carrie Sassy

Hey!


Today I made this card for the final round of the Sassy in the City Relay at Sassy Studio Designs.
Love the 4 images we got to make a card with. As of now you can buy these ladies in the SSD digistore.

This is Carrie. We all know she loves shoes and the first thing I thought of when I found this awsome image in my mailbox was that I had to hang a pair of heels on her arm and make a big pink pump. Also wanted to use the color combo pink/black/white.

I used a white cardbase and cut an inch of the front and adhered a piece of pink with a punched edge. On top of the front I adhered a map of paris and to finish the side of I had to adhere a piece of black linen cardstock with the same lace edge and a piece of pink cardstock.
I paperpieced a shoe and finished the side with pink pearlchain. I used a lovely shoe sentiment and an eiffeltower charm to finish the card.
I am very happy the way the card turned out. Just like the design in my head.
