Birthday's Princess

Hey!

Here's a Valentine's card I created using a lovely image by Alicia Bel called "Birthday's Princess"

I colored the image using Promarkers and the background I used water colors. I love how that turned out. It's a very new coloring medium for me. Will try to use it more often as I like how water colors blend on water color paper.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Kitty

Bushel and a Peck

Hey!

Here's a Valentines card I made using a cute stamp from Jennifer Nilsson Art. It's called "Bushel and a Peck" and it's exclusively available in the Miss Daisy Stamps shop.

I added the lovely bear to a digital background and created a little sentiment to go with it. The image is colored with Promarkers. I made the card using red cardstock and a lovely Dutch Shape Art Heart
template from Dutchdoobadoo. The lovely background is from Studio light and the heart die cuts are from Noor Design. The lovely banner is made with a brand less die. The little tags are made with corrugated cardstock from a package of cookies.

There's also a fun Miss Daisy Stamps Create & Share Facebook Group you can join.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hey!

Welcome to a new week. Hope yours start great. Sadly this week is the last challenge at Love to Create Challenges. The blog is closing down. Hopefully it'll start again in the near future. Time will tell!

This weeks sponsor is Oddball Art. I love those images.
I got to play with Big Eye Girl Kendall Collector of Hearts No. 131 and made an easel card. The image is colored using Promarkers. I love the color combo red. pink and white for valentine. I used a piece of vinyl lace, some heart die cuts, red gems and a piece of bling band to support the card. The sentiment is one I had in my stash and don't know who it's from.

Hope you'll join our last challenge "Lace or Ribbon, Pearls or Gems, Favorite Valentines Colors" to get the chance to win 3 digi's from Oddball Art of your choice.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Hugs,
Kitty

Sleeping Flower

Hey!

Yesterday I created this Circle Side Step Card using a round plate of 17,2cm.

The image I used is a sweet digi by A Day For Daisies called Sleeping Flower. It's just the right image for a card for my sister on Valentines day. In 1992 she gave birth to a still born baby girl. She carried her to term. It was a very sad day and I stayed in the hospital with my sister that night. Since then I send her a valentines card every single year to let her know I haven't forgotten it.

I colored the image with Promarkers and cut it out with an oval xcut die and matted it on a scalloped oval die. I also die cut a magnolia tag, a joy crafts flourish, crafty sentiments fancy hearts border and some scalloped hearts. I have punched out 3 white butterflies and 3 little red hearts. I made a little pin embellishment with 2 pearls and a silver wing and stuck it in a pieco of foam underneath the love ticket, adhered 5 turquoise rhinestones and 3 white pearls to finish it all.

I used colors according to this photo for the DT Call at Love to Create Challenge Blog.

I want to enter this card to the following challenges:
- Love to Create (DT Call) - Valentine's Day & Creative Fold
- A Day for Daisies - #88 Use Red & Pink

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

What part of meow don't you understand?

Hey!

I made this sassy valentines card with a lovely SSD  image called "Pin Up Cat". You can get this one for free if you play along with the Facebook Challenge. I love this sassy Kitty. Great to use on a card for a man. I made the sentiment myself, because this image does need a sassy sentiment, don't you think?

I made a easel card by folding the front of a square card in half. I used a big heart die cut as the background for this image. I colored the image with promarkers. In the corner is a little rub-on. Around the edge of the black heart I created some faux stitching with a white gel pen and adhered some little red punched out hearts.

I want to enter this card to the following challenges:
- The Stamping Boutique - #2 Valentines

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Hugs,
Kitty
