I made a card using a From the Heart Digital Stamp called Super Birdbrain. I love the Birdbrain stamps. Isn't he the cutest? I colored him with Promarkers. I printed a digital background. Also used yellow cardstock, some walnut stain distress ink and a red fine liner.

Birthday Candle

Hey!

Here's my take on sketch #140 from i {heart} sketches.

I used a From the Heart Stamps digi called "Birthday Candle" and colored it with Faber-Castell Polychromos. Items used to create the card; Kraft card base, scraps of dp, corrugated paper from a package of cookies, thin rope and distress ink for all the edges.

Coffee...

Hey!

Today I made a card with my favorite From the Heart Stamps character Birdbrain using sketch #124 with a twist.

The image is called "Birdbrain needs coffee" and I colored it with Promarkers. I used white linen cardstock for the card base, 2 scraps of patterned cardstock, black linen cardstock, circle dies, scallop die and a Dutch sentiment by Joy Crafts.

For Santa Birdbrain

Christmas card

Hey!

Before you know it it's Christmas so I thought I would make a Christmas card. Have some cards left from last year so this one is added to the stack. 

I created the card using Sketch #111 from i {heart} sketches. I followed the sketch and the twist. The image is called "Christmas Spirit Birdbrain" by From the Heart Stamps. I Love this cute fella. He is colored with Promarkers. I used some scraps of paper and washi tape, green embroidery floss, 2 little jingle bells and white cardstock.

Loves Me Birdbrain

Here's a card I made with February's Free Stamp of the Month "Loves Me Birdbrain" at From the Heart Stamps using sketch #96 w/a twist "Use a Handmade Embellishment".

I colored the cute chick with Promarkers and kept it clean and simple. I made a big flower with 2 sizes daisy punches, added some flower petals and a few gems. Like how it turned out.

I used a From the Heart image called Birthday Candle Birdbrain and colored it with Promarkers.  Card base is white linen cardstock and the other pieces cardstock are little scraps. Love to use leftovers. To finish the card I made faux stitch lines with a fine liner.

Christmas Spirit Birdbrain

Here's my take on this weeks sketch with a twist from i {heart} sketches (#90) together with the December Free Stamp of The Month by From the Heart Stamps.

The image is called Christmas Spirit Birdbrain. So love this image. I colored this cutie with Promarkers.
The cardbase is white linen cardstock. On top of that I adhered a piece of glitter vinyl. The little strips of patterned Christmas papers are some scraps. I created some rolls of wrapping paper and tucked it underneath the image. The HOHOHO are recycled from a card I had laying around.

Super Birdbrain

Hey!

Here's my 3th card as Guest Designer for From The Heart Stamps.

This weeks challenge it's up to the entrants what sketch they use from the previous 83 i {heart} sketches. I have made a card using sketch #43 and used the colors suggested on the inspirational board. I colored up Super Birdbrain with Promarkers and added a balloon (cut free hand). The yellow embroidery floss on the balloon is added to birdbrains wing by sticking a needle in the right places ;-)

Flappy Birthday

Hey!

Today I made a Joy Fold card using this months FTHS September Free Stamp Of The Month  Flappy Birthday Birdbrain. I so love the Birdbrain images. Almost got them all. They are great for masculine cards and funny.

I used 3 colors linen cardstock. White, dark blue and lime. Like how they combine so well. I colored the image with Promarkers and printed the sentiment in blue ink using MS Word.

Birthday Burger Birdbrain

The image is called Birthday Burger Birdbrain. I love the Birdbrain images. Almost every time I use them for masculine cards. This image is colored with Promarkers and I made a background with a little cupcake stamp.  The blue background is embossed with a cupcake embossing folder and I went over it with white chalk ink.

Hup Holland Hup!

Hey!

Today I made this card for my brother's birthday tomorrow. I used sketch #71 from i {heart} sketches and of course a lovely FTHS Birdbrain image called Birdbrain Football Fanatics. Don't you just adore the Birdbrain images? I sure do!!

Tonight (June 18th 2014) our Dutch soccer team will be playing their second match of the World Cup Soccer in Brazil and my brother is a real soccer fan. So with permission of the creator of the image I altered it by erasing the Football and changing the Go Team to Hup Holland Hup. I colored it with Promarkers in our National Red White Blue and of course Orange. I created some grass and distressed the sky background soft blue. Above the sentiment I placed a little soccer ball brad.

Going to the post now to send the card to my brother and get ready for tonight's game against Australia.
