Hey!

Welcome to a new month and that means the SSD DT rotates and this month I will be creating cards/projects for Flashback Friday's and the Progressive Challenge on our Facebook page.

This months image for the Progressive challenge is "Immortal Love". (it will be soon available in the SSD shop). I colored the image with Promarkers. Edward needed a little vampire look so I added a thin line under his eyes and added the same color (heatwave) to his mouth. The image and the purple mat are cut outs with nestabilitie dies. I love the Twilight movies and I love the scene in the snow, so I decided to use a snow embossing folder with some vellum and adhered it to grey linen cardstock. I have some gorgeous dark grey vinyl lace laying around that I had to use and love how that turned out. Added a metal corner and a die cut (Joy Crafts 6002/0382).

Hey!

New month has started and this month I will be in the Facebook team. Today starts a new progressive challenge on the SSD Facebook Fan Page. This month image is Smurfette.

I made a toadstool card for a friend who is moving house next month. I colored her with Promarkers and added some white pearls to her dress. The toadstool is made with a template that I had. Of coarse it had to have a pink roof. I punched out a few circles and distressed the edges. The grass border and fence are die cuts from a Dutch brand called Precious Marieke. The sentiment is a Dutch -new house- sentiment.

New Years Disco Ball

Hey!

First of all I want to wish you all a happy -crafty- new year and hope it will be an awesome year!

This month I am in the SSD Facebook team so here's my project for January's Progressive FB Challenge using New Years Disco Ball.

I created a Champagne Bottle Tag. The tag is black so the silver glitter background is more visible. The image is colored with Promarkers. The ball is a punched circle where I adhered a piece of aluminum tape on. The glitter background is vinyl, on top of that is a doily die cut. I printed a lovely image and adhered it to the bottle. I found a clock charm in my stash and tied some tulle ribbon to the top of the tag.

I Smell Children!

Welcome to another Facebook Flashback Friday at Sassy Studio Designs. This week there are 4 Flashback images you can buy at a discount for one week only at the Sassy Digistore.

Here's my cauldron card that I made for this Mary Sanderson digi. When I think of her I always hear her say "I smell children", so I had to make this sentiment to go with the card. I colored her up with Promarkers and distressed the edges of the cauldron with white ink and the gooey stuff with walnut stain.

Patriotic Pin Up

This gorgeous image is called Patriotic Pin Up. I colored her with Promarkes and added some bling stars on her hat, ear and shoes and some little blue ones on the background that I found on the internet.

SSD FB Monthly Challenge

 

 

Hey!

Today starts our Sassy Studio Designs Monthly Challenge on our Facebook Group. This months theme is For the Ladies - A Project for a Gift Card.

If you want to play along you can join our group and ask for this image called Pedi Party.
I made a card for a gift card. It's made out of a piece of cardstock for a square card. Just score from the left bottom corner to the right upper corner and fold. Then fold the two bottoms together and it's ready to be decorated. I used lilac and purple cardstock, a edge doily punch and butterfly edge and the butterfly die that fits on top, an oval and oval scalop die, big butterfly die, a sentiment from the internet, some patterned cardstock, glitter glue and washi tape.
