Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week was my turn to pick a challenge theme. I have chosen "Feminine". As we don't have a sponsor Denise is offering one lucky winner a 6 pack of promarkers of their choice (from the Cowling & Wilcox store).

I created a Cake Easel Card and used an Colour of Love image from Heather Valentin. It's a VIP Exclusive image called "Sakura". I love this image. I coloured her with Promarkers and added some accents with Faber-Castell Polychromos. If you like to create a card with a cake in it you can simple recycle an empty ribbon/lace roll. Make a little box that fit your candle size. The flower border is a die cut from the Action. To close the card I used a piece of stretch lace ribbon.

Marietta

Hey!

Here's an easel card I made using a Heather Valentin's Colour of Love image called "Marietta". She is one of the fabulous images from the Illumination Realm.

The image is colored with Promarkers. I was in a Pink/Purple/Turquoise mood. Other items used to create this card: kraft and pink cardstock, doily, pink pompom ribbon, bunting die, Doohickey Tags, stitched circle dies, pearl chain, doily edge punch, digital sentimen, brown canvas ribbon, turquoise feather and walnut stain distress ink.

Dahlia's Blooms

Hey!

Here's an easel card I made using one of the gorgeous images from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Dahlia's Blooms" and I colored it using Promarkers and cut it out with a precision knife. I made the base using a circle die. The items I used to create this card are, gauze, glitter swirls, acetate butterfly lace, ribbon, ribbon roses, paper flower and a flatback pearl.

DDS - Snowboard Sammy

Hey!

Here's a snowball easel card I created using a winter digi from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Snowboard Sammy" from the Winter Collection and colored it using Promarkers. The card is very easy to make. I created a circle by tearing little pieces of a square piece of white cardstock. I used white gesso to create texture and while wet I added glitter to it to give it the effect of glistening snow. I added felt snowflakes, gems, punched out snowsflakes, die cut snowflake, snowflake charm and a snow sentiment to finish it.

Today starts a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarker. This time both DT teams made projects for our Birthday Creations challenge. I made this circle easel card using stitched circle dies and this sweet image from Sasayaki Glitter called "Mia wants to say Happy Birthday" The image is colored with Promarkers. Love the combo of kraft, pink and purples. They go so well together. Behind the image I added a cut out of the Tim Holtz clock, Other items used; bunting die, tickets die, stitched circle dies, doily, digi sentiment, pearl string, canvas ribbon, walnut stain distress ink, doily edge punch and pink pompom ribbon.

Birthday Shopping

Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Unicorn Challenge Blog. The challenge is Anything Goes so everyone can join the fun.

I created a circle easel card using an image from "Sasayaki Glitter" called "Christmas Shopping" and colored it using Promarkers. I thought this image is also very suitable as a birthday shopping image for a winter birthday. This card is created for a January birthday girl. To make this card I used a stitched circle die, tickets die, pearls, distress ink, Dutch sentiment, white, pink and yellow cardstock, fine liner and pink burlap.

Little Skater

Hey!

Here's a card I made as GDT for All Dressed Up's new challenge.

I got to play with this lovely digi called "Little Skater" and colored her with Promarkers. I created a easel card. The big ice skate is paper pieced using black and white cardstock, aluminum tape on a piece of scrap cardstock, white brads, white eyelets and white embroidery floss. The skate is cut by hand. Love how it turns out every single time. I picked 3 designer cardstock and love the one with the little ice skates. To finish the card I added a snow flakes border, flatback pearls, snowflake punch outs and a winter sentiment.

Hey!

Here's a card I made for this month's showcase on the Lacy Sunshine Blog.

The image is called "Loxie" and I have colored her with Promarkers and Twinmarkers. It has been a while since I made an easel card. Making an easel card is a great way to use up your scraps. I have tons in boxes and need to use them. Lol... I made this one for my sister in law's birthday. She loved it.

Frenchy Edwin

Hey!

Here's a card I made before and had to make ik again because I love this kind of card. This card model called Easel Card with a Birthday Cake.

I used Frenchy Edwin from the Spring Fever Collection 2016. I am always happy when there is a new Edwin image in a collection. Sad Magnolia makes Tilda images mostly.
The image is colored with Promarkers. I used dp from a Craft Sensations. The candles are regulard cake candles. Other items used; flatback pearls, digi sentiment, diamond ribbon, doily edge punch, stretch lace ribbon, white cardbase, chocolate brown, blue and pink cardstock.

Ice Cream Sundea Sprite

I got to play with this gorgeous and yummy image called "Ice Cream Sundae Sprite" and I colored it with Promarkers. I wanted the image to be the focal point of the card so I kept the easel card simple. I used white linen cardstock for the card base, polka dot cardstock, gem stones and a charm.

Whimsical Cupcake Sprite

Baseball & Apple Pie

Hey!

Here's a card for the new challenge at Lacy Sunshine. It's themed "Baseball & Apple Pie".
This one was pretty hard for me as we don't know this in our country. But this gorgeous image inspired me to make this easel card. Feel free to join our Fortnight challenge so you get the chance to win some Lacy Sunshine images.

The image is called "Cider Apple" and she's colored with Promarkers. Base card is made from white linen cardstock. It's made into an easel card. The big apple pie is a cutting file from Miss Kate Cuttables. After adding the Apple Pie to the folded part I cut it to the shape of the pie. Like how it turned out.

I got to play with Big Eye Girl Kendall Collector of Hearts No. 131 and made an easel card. The image is colored using Promarkers. I love the color combo red. pink and white for valentine. I used a piece of vinyl lace, some heart die cuts, red gems and a piece of bling band to support the card. The sentiment is one I had in my stash and don't know who it's from.

Here's my easel card using "Capricorn Portrait" and colored her with Promarkers. I made it for my hubby who's birthday is Jan. 18th. I kept is as clean and simple as I could because the image is beautiful by itself. I used 2 embossing folders (clocks & happy birthday), white ink, a Tim Holtz clock die and a old cd.

Candy Cane the Sassy Elf

 Hey!

Welcome to a new DTBST Challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. This weeks challenge is called "Let it Snow".

I colored this image called "Candy Cane the Sassy Elf" with Promarkers and made a snowball easel card. I just drew a circle and teared the edges. I used gesso to create some texture and added glitter to it while wet. After it dried I finished it with punched out snowflakes, a snowflake charm and a sentiment. I used die cut snowflakes to create a stop so the card stays in place.

SSD November Release Blog Hop

I got to play with Butterfly Effie Portrait and colored her with Promarkers. I love butterflies and I had to color them in pink tones. I made a easel card and created a frame for the beauty. Of course I added paper  butterflies and a big brass butterfly, some pearls, glitter, tags and pearls. The Sentiment says "Butterfly Wishes and Birthday Kisses"

GDT at Lacy Sunshine

Hey!

For this fortnight challenge (Summer) at Lacy Sunshine I am their Guest Designer. How cool is that? Love those digi stamps, they are super cute. It was super fun to be your Guest Designer!

I got to play with Bubbles Sailing. She's from the Sticky Wings Collection. I colored her with Promarkers. The Lighthouse (A4 size) is from Sandra's Scrapshop. I have cut it out of white cardstock and adhered red strips on top of it. I adhered it to a regular square card and made it into an easel card. This is what a lighthouse looks like for me white & red. I added some waves and adhered the image between them. On the bottom right you see a little bottle and it says "Message in a bottle". The anchor charm is from an bracelet that was broken and I kept all the little charms.

Flower Pot Pretties

Here's an easel card I made using Marianne Designs Dies. Like making those.

This is my 1st Lacy Sunshine Stamps Flower Pot Pretties. I coloured Tina Tulips with Promarkers and added a little flower in her hair and allong the bottom of the card and added a pearl in the center. Love how it turned out.
