PFP - Keep Fit Kenneth

Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This week it's themed "Favourite Colour Combo" and our sponsor is Doctor Digi House of Stamps.

I got to play with this funny guy called "Keep Fit Kenneth" and colored it using Promarkers. I love the combo of white, grey and pink. Even though it is a male card I love how the pink stands out against the gray tones. The grey strips are made using paint samples from the diy store and the 50 is cut from the dark grey strip. The sentiment is from Craft Sensations using Memento ink and cut out using a brandless stitched circle die.

I got to play with a stamp called "Davey Dunderton". I colored this cool dude using Promarkers. My three of a kind is 3 dp's. I used printables from Polkadoodles (pirate little dude and gamer little dude). I distressed all edges using walnut stain distress ink.

PFP - Workout Time

I got to play with this image called "Workout Time!" and colored it using Promarkers. I created this card for my partner for Father's Day as he works out 3 times a week. For the card I used a white cardbase, 3 pieces of colored background papers, 2 orange buttons, stitched circle die, circle punches, Dutch sentiment and walnut stain distress ink.

PFP - Buttons a/o Bows

Hey!

Today start a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. Karen has chosen the theme "Buttons a/o Bows". Our sponsor is DigiStamp Boutique and the winner gets a £10.00 voucher for the shop.

I got to play with this image called "Harry and Beer" and colored him using Promarkers. I used the png file to add the orange checkered background and I added the same orange color to the frame Harry pops out of. I created this card with a white linen cardbase, added a orange stitched die cut square to add the image too and added 2 stips of white linen cardstock under the image and adhered an orange button on each of them. All the edges are distressed using walnut stain distress ink.

Weight Lifter Alf

Today starts a new challenge at Passion for Promakers. Challenge #378 is themed "Sports/Hobbies" and our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique.

I got to play with this fun image called "Weight Lifter Alf" and colored him with Promarkers. This card is for my partner who's having his birthday tomorrow and he's doing fitness for a long time now.
The background papers are from the Mix & Match Vintage Experience design block from Craft Sensations. The sentiment is a digi I had on my pc. Also used a masculine big brad, kraft cardstock and distress ink.

Busy time ahead for me. The three of us are having our birthday's within 6 days. I am happy when February starts ;-)

Masculine card

Hey!

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the new challenge at Cards und More. It's themed Cards for Men. I know is harder to make a card for men. Kraft and plaid work well for men's cards I guess.

I made this card using Buttercream Babe - Sassy Cake. She is colored with Promarkers.
The card base is Kraft cardstock, I matted it with a lovely plaid paper, on top of that I used corrugated cardstock from a package of cookies and on top of that I adhered a piece of scrap paper with a script pattern. The Happy Birthday border is from Joy Crafts.

To die for

Hey!

It's Thursday and that means a new DTBST challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. This week is themed #271 "To Die For" (use one or more die cuts).

I used a lovely Sentimint called "The Longer You Live" and made a card suitable for male or female. Love the retro background. I used 3 different sizes of circle dies. I added some orange gems to the background and distressed the edge of the sentiment.

Masculine Card

Hey!

Happy Weekend to you all.
Today I made a masculine card with sketch #80 from i {heart} sketches with the optional twist handmade embellishment. Always nice to have some for upcoming birthdays or celebrations for a man.

I used a FTHS digi called Necktie Banner and colored it with Promarkers. I used some masculine background cardstock and made a necktie with brown grosgrain ribbon. I adhered a metal corner to the card and left the sentiment out because I wait until I know for what occasion the card will be used ;-).

Looks like Autumn is comming early this year. Getting colder and it's raining almost every day. Well, that means more time for crafting ;-) So here's my card for challenge #130 at Love to Create - Mad about Plaid.

I used Dr. Digi's House of Stamps Crouching Hidden Tiger Dunderton and colored him with Promarkers. I used black/white/grey plaid so the green would stand out better. Like this guy as my son does karate.
The embossed sentiment is Dutch for Happy Birthday. In the corners I adhered metal corners.

Masculine Card

Hey!

I made this masculine card with sketch #51 from i {heart} sketches.

The image is from FTHS and it's called Birdbrain Balloon. I masked it with a dutch sentiment frame (Gefeliciteerd = Congratulations) and colored the cute chick with Promarkers. I adhered a strip of dark blue linen cardstock and a peace of packaging from cookies. Love to recycle. The red and white stars are die cuts.

Masculine Card

Hey!

Today I made this card for a friend of ours who loves to bbq. And because it is for a man I love to ad the birthday brew digi stamp from D2D. I made the dutch sentiment (happy birthday). You can download the dutch and english sentiment in my last post.

I colored the image with promarkers and the foam is done with a snow marker that puffs when heated. Love the effect. I added some glossy accents on the flame (after taking the photo ;-)).
