SSD December Release Blog Hop

Here's my easel card using "Yoda" and colored him with Promarkers. I made 2 borders with the Star Wars font to match. I love Star Wars and I think Yoda is a great character. He talks funny. I found the awesome background on the internet. And of coarse the sentiment is one of Yoda himself.

SSD Release Hop to Celebrate 6 years

Welcome to a new SSD release blog hop. This time we celebrate SSD's 6th birthday. Congratulations Lindsay!

I got to play with this gorgeous image called "VIRGO". Don't you just love her. Our Sassy Brother Greg made an awesome background paper to go with the image. Love the hot pink. I created this card in photoshop and printed it on my dcp paper for coloring the image with Promarkers. Like how it turned out. The edges are die cuts from Joy Crafts and to those and the wing I added pink glitter glue.

We're all Stars...

Here's my card using "Taurus" and I colored her with Promarkers. I made it for a dear friend of mine in Australia who's birthday is May 15th. I kept is as clean and simple as I could because the image is beautiful by itself. I used a Kraft card base and gray, cream, black and burgundy cardstock. The sentiment was on my pc and I don't know who made it. The taurus keywords I found via Google. The die cut is from Spellbinders and I added 3 silver corners to finish the card.

SSD January Release Blog Hop

Here's my easel card using "Capricorn Portrait" and colored her with Promarkers. I made it for my hubby who's birthday is Jan. 18th. I kept is as clean and simple as I could because the image is beautiful by itself. I used 2 embossing folders (clocks & happy birthday), white ink, a Tim Holtz clock die and a old cd.

SSD November Release Blog Hop

I got to play with Butterfly Effie Portrait and colored her with Promarkers. I love butterflies and I had to color them in pink tones. I made a easel card and created a frame for the beauty. Of course I added paper  butterflies and a big brass butterfly, some pearls, glitter, tags and pearls. The Sentiment says "Butterfly Wishes and Birthday Kisses"

October Release Hop

Welcome to a brand new SSD release blog hop. Lindsay made 4 brand new images. They are absolutely gorgeous.

I got to play with Sassy Demon and colored her with Promarkers. I made a shaped card (love this shape), added a piece of recycled corrugated cardstock on top of that I adhered a little piece of an old belt. The label is a post it note and the background behind the image is plain copy paper that I smudged with fired brick distress ink.

SSD August Blog Hop

I got to play with this beauty called Rapunzel Sassy. She's colored with Promarkers. I used a frame die, a doily edge punch, 3 flower punches, butterfly punch and some gems. I love how the pink and black go together. You can find all the beautiful images in the SSD Store.

SSD July Release Blog Hop

Welcome to SSD's July Release Blog Hop - Disney/Fairytale Buttercream Babes. Hope you're having fun so far!

Love the new digi's. Got to play with Cinderella Cake and colored her with Promarkers. I made an easel card and created a big- and small pumpkin using oval dies and distressed the edges with walnut stain distress ink. I have cut freehand the stems and die cutted a flourish and some grass. I gave her a little gem ear ring and added three gems on the cake dress.

If you like you can join the Chat Party on release day from 17:00 - 19:00 PST, where you get the chance to chat with some of the designers. I can't be there because it will 2:00am in my timezone ;-)

Hooray... SSD is turning 5!

Welcome to Sassy Studio Designs' 5th Anniversary Party Release/Blog Hop. Hope you'll like the new festive images created by Lindsay.

I got to play with "Birthday Cake Sassy". Love this image. She's colored with Promarkers. Gonna use it a lot for male friend birthdays. I made a easel card with a piece of acetate to make the card slightly different. I wanted it to be extra festive, so I used a silver glitter pen for her gloves and the bow on the cake. The little pearls on the cakes are jazzed up with silver glitter glue. Other items used cupcake embossing folder, lace ribbon, acetate butterfly, wooden 5 and a flat back pearl.

SentiMints Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the first stop of a new SentiMints Release Blog Hop. Our Sassy Brother Greg has made a lovely range of new sentiments to go with the Sassy Studio Designs images.

I got to play with "Life is not measured by years, but Anniversaries of the heart." Don't you just love that sentiment. I created a card just using that because it says it all. I distressed all the edges and made a little flower arrangement with fluffy feathers to go with it. Hope you like it.

Sassy Studio Designs April Release Blog Hop

Love the new release set. Have you watched to movie yet? I love it!
I got to create with lovely Coronation Anna. I colored her with my Promarkers. I guess I had all the right colors from the special editions. Very happy how she turned out. I adhered the image on a die cut frame and added some sequins and rhinestones. I used a lovely snowflake background on the card base. In the corner is a brass butterfly which I added gold glitter to it. The sentiment is also from the release set.
