Dahlia's Blooms

Hey!

Here's an easel card I made using one of the gorgeous images from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Dahlia's Blooms" and I colored it using Promarkers and cut it out with a precision knife. I made the base using a circle die. The items I used to create this card are, gauze, glitter swirls, acetate butterfly lace, ribbon, ribbon roses, paper flower and a flatback pearl.

Hey!

Oh my, is it March already? Time flies... New month new monthly challenge over at the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog. We got a color scheme this month.

I got to play with this cute image called "Heather" and colored her and added a little scene using Promarker. The cardbase is made from green linen cardstock and I used pink linen cardstock and 2 pieces of digital papers from Michele R. Designs. I added a few little punched out butterflies and made a little cluster of flowers with a big butterfly on top and one of 3 little flowers.

Cup of Love

Hey!

Here's a tag I created with one of the newest digi's from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Cup of Love" and I colored it using Promarkers. I created a little background with my markers. For this tag I used a lot of items. The tag is cut out of a piece of kraft cardstock, I adhered a piece of recycled paper from a box of chocolates, used scraps of designer papers, piece of an old Dutch dictionary, cardboard, coffee beans die, paper flowers, lace, rope, frame die, small tag, an edge punch and distress ink.

It's a Love thing

Hey!

Today starts a new month, that means a brand new challenge over at the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog. This month is themed "All about Love".

I got to play with this beautiful image called "Gigi" and colored her with Promarkers. To create this heart shaped card I used a Heart template from Dutch Doobadoo and the little heart is made with a Marianne design die. On the red cardstock I created a background with clear stamps from Craft Sensations and white pigment ink. Other items I used; crocheted ribbon, flower die cut, pearls, love sentiment, heart pin, selfmade engel pin, paper flowers and distress ink.

DDS - Snowboard Sammy

Hey!

Here's a snowball easel card I created using a winter digi from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Snowboard Sammy" from the Winter Collection and colored it using Promarkers. The card is very easy to make. I created a circle by tearing little pieces of a square piece of white cardstock. I used white gesso to create texture and while wet I added glitter to it to give it the effect of glistening snow. I added felt snowflakes, gems, punched out snowsflakes, die cut snowflake, snowflake charm and a snow sentiment to finish it.

DDS - Penguin Wobbles Special Delivery

Hey!

Here's a card I'd like to share with you using a lovely Christmas image from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Penguin Wobbles Special Delivery" from the Believe in the Magic Collection and I colored it using Promarkers. When I saw this image I had to create a card in the shape of a gift and with a big bow. It is such an easy card to make, but I think it's doing the image justice. If you like to create a card like this one just cut a strip of cardstock that is slightly wider than your card base and adhere it with thick foam tape on the top part of your card and tie a big piece of ribbon around the front of the card and make a pretty bow so that it's on the top part of your card.

DDS - Priscilla Caster

Hey!

Here's a card I made using a lovely Halloween image from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Priscilla Caster" and is from the Halloween Collection and colored it using Promarkers and cut it out using a x-acto knife. I made a pumkin card with oval shaped dies. The stem is cut freehand. I have used distress ink along all edges of the card. I added a magnolia fence die cut behind the image and adhered 2 lovely glitter swirls.

DDS - Vannessa Rae

Hey!

Here's a Christmas card I made using a Digi Doodle Studios image called "Vanessa Rae".

I colored the image using Promarkers and kept the cards pretty simple as I wanted the image to stand out. It's is so gorgeous on it's own. I used a pink cardbase, red snowflakes background, red cardstock, hologram cardstock, magnolia tag die cut and a poinsettia die. I distressed all edges using walnut stain distress ink.

DDS - Santa's Gifts

            

Hey!

Here's a card I'd like to show you using one of the new release digi stamps from Digi Doodle Studios.

This image is called "Santa's Gifts" and you can find him in the Christmas/Winter section in the shop. I colored this cute santa using Promarkers. The card is yet again an interactive one. This card is called a Twist and Pop card. I used cream colored cardstock for the base and 2 designer papers from a Craft Sensations Kerst Design-Blok van de Action. Happy is cut with one part of a Joy crafts sentiment die set (Happy Holidays) and the big letters are made with a brandless alphabeth set. Also added distress ink to the edges of the letters and designer papers.

DDS - Dracula

 Hey!

Today I'd like to show you a slider card I made using one of the new release digi stamps from Digi Doodle Studios. There are so many lovely Halloween stamps in the shop.

The image is called "Dracula" and I colored him using Promarkers. I loved making this Tripple Tier Slider Card. Interactive cards are fun to make and always gives great respons from the recipient. I used 3 kinds of designer papers and the base is made with black cardstock. I used an old cut & embos die for the bats. added white ink to them and folde the wing a bit to give them more dimension.  I wrote the sentiment using white gelpen on a strip of scrap black cardstock and added faux stitching to the card for a more finished look.

DDS - Dottie Two Scoop

Hey!

Here's a simple card I made using Digi Doodle Studios' Dottie Two Scoop. Did you know there is still time to enter the Anything Goes challenge over at the DDS Challenge Blog? Feel free to join!!

I colored the image using Promarkers. I love the dp and had to use it for this card. I cut the image using a rectangle stitched die and matted it on purple cardstock. The little tab is from a Xcut tabs die set, the sentiment is form my stash and the lovely scalloped circle is made using a Craft Sensations die, also added 3 sequins and pearls to the card.

DDS - Mallory

Hey!

Here's a card I made using this gorgeous Digi Doodle Studios image called Mallory from the new collection called "Believe in the Magic"

The image is colored using Promarkers. This card is a gift card holder. The card is closed with a piece of baker's twine. The doily behind the image is made out of velum using a Cheery Lynn doily die. The sentiment is a border die from Noor Design. Also added big flatback pearls to each corner.
The flower on her hat is made with two little satin flowers that I folded together.

DDS - Tea Time

 Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at Digi Doodle Studios. It's themed "Anything Goes". I made a little gift tea book using Tea Time.

I colored the image using Promarkers. I made a cup doily with my cameo. On the tag I added 2 peaces of ribbon and a teacup charm. The base is made with Kraft cardstock and the dp is from a Dutch brand. I distressed the edges of the dp with an edge distresser and used distress ink on the die cuts, tags and banner.

DDS - Christmas in July

Hey!

Here's a Christmas card I made using one of the new images from Digi Doodle Studio's. Love to start with my Christmas cards in July. The release is called "Believe in the Magic" and it has 7 wonderful images.

I got to play with "Nicolette" and I colored it using Promarkers. To create this card I took a kraft pre-folded card. The little tree scene is created with a Christmas tree border die and 3 Christmas tree die cuts. Along the edges I used white ink. The striped paper is from my left over stash. The sentiment is made with a die set from Joy Crafts.

DDS - Damita Elf on the Shelf

Hey!

Oh my it's July already. Can't believe we are half through the year. Well a new month means a new challenge over at Digi Doodle Studios. This month it's themed "Christmas in July".

I got to play with this gorgeous image called "Damita Elf on a Shelf" and colored her using Promarkers. I have only used scraps of paper to make this card. I had the square with a circle cut out and wanted to use that so I adhered pieces of christmas papers on the back and added glitter snow to the edge of the circle cut out. The holly is made from 2 leaves from a poinsettia die set and the berries are made from an older Sizzix die (icecone and cupcake). The little package is made with 2 quickutz dies (ribbon and a square) and adhered it on the star from the Precious star from Memory box.

DDS - Nursery Friends

It's the 1st of a new month and the start of a new challenge over at Digi Doodle Studios. This month it's themed "Baby Boom".

I got to play with this cute image called "Nursery Friends" and I colored it using Promarkers. I also added wallpaper and flooring to it. Like how that turned out. I made a lollipop card using 3 strips of  the Tim Holtz  paper rozette die, folded doilies, paper straw, lace ribbon and a cute charm.

DDS - First Birthday

Hey!

Here's a card I made using an image from the new Digi Doodle Studios Release "Bundles of Joy"

The image is called "First Birthday" and I colored it using Promarkers. To create this card I folded a piece of purple A4 size cardstock in half and hand drew a 1 from the fold and cut it. Love how it turned out. I added a piece of vellum that I embossed with a cupcake folder to the top of the card. Other items used: pink cardstock, Noor Desgin presents border die, Marianne Design heart balloon die, Couture Creations doily die, nameless stitched circle die, Joy hoera die, vintage photo distress ink and a Dutch digi sentiment.

DDS - Chef Cinnamon

Hey!

Here's a easel card I made using Digi Doodle Studios' image called Chef Cinnamon.

The image is colored with Promarkers and for the card I used a lovely Apple Pie svg file from Miss Kate Cuttables. I used white linen cardstock to create the cardbase. The front of the card I folded in half and I adhered the apple pie on the lover part of the folded front. Then I folded the front and cut along the sides of the apple pie so the whole front is shaped and didn't leave any white cardstock. I love how it turned out.
On the bottom of the card I used a strip of corrugated paper from a package of speculaas (it even smells like the cookies) and I created a little doily border with a border punch. I don't know who made the digi sentiment. It has been on my computer for ages. I cut it with a stitched rectangle die.

Today is a special day for Digi Doodle Studios as there is an event with this digi as a giveaway on the Kit and Clowder Facebook page.
