Bird in cage

It saddens me to say this is the last card I made for the Julia Spiri New Release DT.

Here's March release called "Bird in cage". I colored the image using Promarkers and some gel pens.

Items used: kraft card base, black cardstock, gears border die, mini gears die cuts, yellow roses, 3 dp's, distress ink, black satin ribbon bow and a bird in cage charm.

I'm watching you

Today there's a new digi released at Stamps by Julia Spiri. The image is called "I'm watching you".

I created a card using a Dutch Doobadoo template called "Shape Art Rectangle". The image is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos. I distressed all edges and created little critters using cicle punches and triangles. Like how they turned out.

Hydrangea

Hey!

Here's a card I made with the new release image from Stamps by Julia Spiri and it's called "Hydrangea". Isn't she a beauty?

I colored the image using Promarkers and Faber Castell Polychromos. I kept the card pretty simple as I wanted the image to stand out. I used Kraft and purple cardstock, designer cardstock, doily edge punch and walnut stain distress ink.

Exotic Flowers

Today is Black Friday so there is a brand new image release from Julia Spiri. It's one gorgeous image called "Exotic Flowers". Isn't it just stunning?

I colored the image with Promarkers. I used a black card base so the image would stand out. The sentiment was on my pc and don't know the maker of it. Also added several die cuts - leaf border, vintage flourish, mini leaves, tags - also green- and white ink to the edges.

Steampunk Lady

Hey!

I got to play with this awesome image (my favorite of this collection) called Steampunk Lady. She's colored with Promarkers. I made a background using the fun clipart and added some fun die cuts Clock (Tim Holtz), Gears border (Noor Design) and Small Gears (Marianne Design).

Paper Doll

Paper Doll

Hey!

Here's a little project I made using the new release from Stamps by Julia Spiri. It's called Paper Doll. It so reminds me of the time I had a few card board dolls with a lot of paper clothes.

I made a diorama card using the biggest Floral Oval die from Spellbinders. The images are colored with Promarkers. I added a wooden meat stick that I cut to size. You can change the dolls clothes and hang them on the clothing pins on the stick with removable double sided tape. The pump and bag are die cuts from Sizzix.

Ferrets and Hair

I created a little box for hair clips. The image I used is called "Ferrets and Hair" and colored it with Promarkers. I had a lovely mirror die and also aluminum tape that were perfect to use with this image and box.

Vintage Hair

Here's a Birthday/Giftcardholder I made using one of the awesome images by Julia Spiri.

The image is called Vintage Hair and it's colored with Promarkers. On the front I used aluminum foil to create a mirror and the lipstick and nail polish are cut with the Cameo. The Dutch sentiment is made in the Designer Studio software and cut with the Cameo.

Here's a card I made using one of the two new digi's from Stamps by Julia Spiri. It's The Princesses Collection. There's a discount code in the shop usable July 14 - July 15.

This image is called "The Princess Margaret". I colored her with Faber-Castell Polychromos and made a card with a curtain like background. Just like a background on a painting in those days.
This photo got me inspired.

Butterfly Hat

Today there isn't a new release from Stamps by Julia Spiri, but we were challenged to working with  past images.

I got to play with this fun image called "Butterfly Hat". The skin is colored with Promarkers and the rest of the image with Water Color Pencils (No Brand). It was the first time using these pencils. I mostly always color with alcohol markers. To create the card I used a gorgeous butterfly edge die from Noor Design and a few butterfly and flower  punches.

Griselda with Owl

Hey!

Today ther is a new digi stamp release from Stamps by Julia Spiri. And oh my, they are gorgeous. The collection has 3 new digi's and it's called "The Little World of Griselda Collection". There's also a discount coupon to be found in the store.

I got to play with Griselda with Owl. I love owls. They fascinated me ever since I was a little girl. The image is colored with Promarkers and the card is made with the Sizzix Thinlits Owl Label Fold-a-Long and I added googly eyes. The inside of the card is stamped with little feathers using white ink.

1001 Nights

Hey!

There is a brand new release from Julia Spiri and it's called "1001 Nights". There are 3 gorgeous digi's. Did you know there's a discount coupon to be found in Julia Spiri's Etsy Store?

I got to play with this beautiful digi called "Genie". When I saw this genie I had to think of the funny genie from the film "Alladdin" so I had to color him blue. I added it to a digital background and colored the image with Promarkers. The image is added to a red card base and I added some faux stitching with white gel pen, pearls and a lovely die cut.

Ocenia Mermaid

 Hey!

There's a new collection from Stamps by Julia Spiri. It's called "The Mermaid Collection" and it even has 2 beautiful water coloring clip art collections. I love this release.

I got to play with this wonderful image called "Ocenia Mermaid". I colored her with Promarkers and cut her by hand. The front of the card is made with a square of light blue cardstock where I used my Promarkers on to create my own background. The porthole is made using circle dies and a big whole punch. The background inside the card is made with the gorgeous Sea water coloring clip art.

The Spring Orchid

Here is another collection of cards made with the new collection "The Spring Flowers" from Stamps by Julia Spiri. The clipart is called "Orchids" and the image is called "The Spring Orchid".

The 1st card is pretty simple. I have just chosen one of the gorgeous orchid images from the clip art and made a Thinking of You card. The 2nd card is made with another branch of orchids and I made it into a 3D card. The 3rd card is made with the gorgeous image and it's colored with Promarkers. I was happy I could use my orchid die set. Love orchids.
