Good News Angel

Hey!

Here's a inspirational card I made with release #2 from the Nativity Set from Jennifer Nilsson Art.

The image is called "Good News Angel" and I colored her with Promarkers and gold marker and red glitter gel pen. For the card base I used the Dutch Doobadoo Star template. Other items used are cream and lilac linen cardstock, corrugated paper from a package of biscuits, lilac lace, stars dies, distress ink, digital sentiment and I made an angel pin.

Winter Bliss

Hey!

Here's a card I made for the new fortnight challenge called Winter Bliss at Lacy Sunshine.

I created a card using Coco Skiing and colored her with Promarkers. I used kraft cardstock and embossed en debossed it and added white ink to show the snowflakes. The ski's are die cuts from Marianne Design. and the felt snowflakes came from my stash.

I got to play with this lovely image called Culinary Claire from TSC. Isn't she gorgeous? I colored her with Promarkers and made an apron card. This card would also be great as an invitation. I got to play with Tsunamie Rose Mechanical Error Kit and Warm Love from Sami Stamps.
I used 3 elements from the Digital Kit and added a crocheted heart (love making them), black and white linen cardstock, a stamped butterfly, pearls, digi coupon, lace, washi tape at top and bottom and a lovely digi sentiment. I have colored the image with promarkers and love the combination of pink, red and black.

Spring Medley

Today was a sunny day (20°C) Hope it stays that way. You never know it changes so much. Didn't have a real winter. Feels like we had 6 months of Fall.

Rosie

Hey!

Here's a card with roses I made with a digi from Art by Mi Ran.

This image was a freebie to celebrate the start of the challenge blog. It's called Rosie. I think she's so cute.
I colored the image with Promarkers and added red paper roses (I made the rosebuds myself) and I crocheted a little red flower to adhere on her hat with some feathers. To add some bling (who doesn't love bling?) on her hair as earrings. I matted the image on a piece of black cardstock and I had cut a strip of the front of the card and adhered some washi tape to go under the image. Like how it turned out. Simple but elegant.

LTC #108 Bingo Card

Welcome to the new challenge week at Love to Create. This weeks challenge is a bingo challenge.
I picked pearls-lace-blue. Our sponsor is StampArt Designs by Kathryne.

I got to work with this lovely image called Sapphire. Isn't she adorable? I colored her with promarkers and I adhered a peace of blue lace on her little skirt. Underneath the little girl I adhered 2 layers of lace (white and blue) and on top of that some white pearls. Even the flowers on her shoes and in her hair have a pearl.

Favorite Color Combo

Hey!

Here's my project for this weeks Dare to Be Sassy Thursday challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. This weeks theme is: It's up to you, choose your favorite color combo.

As Easter is nearby I wanted to make something to go with some delicious chocolate eggs. I made a plastic container I got into a lovely egg container and a lovely tag to go with it.

I used a cute image called Sassy Pin Up Bunny and colored her with Promarkers. My favorite color combo is Pink, Grey, Black and White. Always have loved this combo. Doesn't matter which grey or pink tones I just love the combo. On the top and bottom of the container I adhered some lovely washi tape.

Enjoy the simple things in life...

Here's my card for the Free stamp of the month challenge at From the Heart Stamps.
I used sketch #56 from i {heart} sketches.

The image is called Hamlet PigWit think spring. I colored this cut little pig with promarkers and gave him googly eyes. I made a faux stitch line with a black gel pen and adhered a lovely flower button and yellow bakers twine. I love how great the background paper goes with this image.

Stay Strong...

Hey!

It's never fun to make a card for someone who's battling cancer. This card is for a colleague of my hubby.

I used sketch #52 from i {heart} sketches and the image is from FTHS and it's called Sick Chick and it's colored with promarkers. I made a blue ribbon out of satin ribbon and tied a peace of blue bakers twine with a hope charm dangling.

Sleeping Flower

Hey!

Yesterday I created this Circle Side Step Card using a round plate of 17,2cm.

The image I used is a sweet digi by A Day For Daisies called Sleeping Flower. It's just the right image for a card for my sister on Valentines day. In 1992 she gave birth to a still born baby girl. She carried her to term. It was a very sad day and I stayed in the hospital with my sister that night. Since then I send her a valentines card every single year to let her know I haven't forgotten it.

I colored the image with Promarkers and cut it out with an oval xcut die and matted it on a scalloped oval die. I also die cut a magnolia tag, a joy crafts flourish, crafty sentiments fancy hearts border and some scalloped hearts. I have punched out 3 white butterflies and 3 little red hearts. I made a little pin embellishment with 2 pearls and a silver wing and stuck it in a pieco of foam underneath the love ticket, adhered 5 turquoise rhinestones and 3 white pearls to finish it all.

What part of meow don't you understand?

I made this sassy valentines card with a lovely SSD  image called "Pin Up Cat". You can get this one for free if you play along with the Facebook Challenge. I love this sassy Kitty. Great to use on a card for a man. I made the sentiment myself, because this image does need a sassy sentiment, don't you think?

I made a easel card by folding the front of a square card in half. I used a big heart die cut as the background for this image. I colored the image with promarkers. In the corner is a little rub-on. Around the edge of the black heart I created some faux stitching with a white gel pen and adhered some little red punched out hearts.

Hey!

Here's my card for this sketch challenge #48 at i {heart} sketches using a cute image of From The Heart Stamps called Gathering Hearts.

The cardbase is white linen cardstock, image is colored with Promarkers and I matted it with read. In between the red layers I adhered a peace of a page from an old dutch book. I love the effect of it. Further I adhered a peace of white ribbons with hearts on it and a little red heart with som glossy accents to embellisch the card. Around the edged I created a patterned line with a red fineliner.

FTHS January stamp of the month

Hey!

I made this card with this months free stamp from FTHS.

Card base is white linen cardstock and I stamped my own background using postage stamps. The black mat is embossed with an embossing folder with postage stamps and used a white ink pad to make the embossed part pop more. The image is called Caught Your Heart and I colored it with Promarkers. I also stamped the background of the image and adhered a little heart underneath the grey matted image.
