Dots & Stripes

Hey!

The first of the month I received this gorgeous freebie from The East Wind and I decided to make this card with it with Dots & Stripes.

The image reminds me of a big shirt I had in the eighties with just a part of a face on it. Right away I thought of this color combo, just like my big shirt. Wish I had a photo of it to show you. The mouth and eye are colored with Promarkers.  I have cut strips of red and black linen cardstock to create the stripes and the dots are punched with a 3/8" circle punch. On the black parts I added faux white stitching.

Aurora Bubblegum and Mint Chocolate

Hey!

I had this card finished but forgot to take a picture. So now I have a bad photo because of the dark.

For this card I used a lovely image from The East Wind and this is Aurora and it's called Bubblegum and Mint Chocolate. I think she's super cute. She's colored with Promarkes. I used a pink beachy background with flip flops sunglasses and bathing suits and a blue wavy background. I also used a doily (sadly it ripped while adding glue tape). Her earrings are little pink pearls and I added vinyl lace and satin ribbon.
