Space Princes Honey

I made a tag (10x15cm) using "Space Princess Honey" and colored her with Promarkers. I found a background of a photo from a Star Wars scene with Princess Leia and have cut it to size to fit this image. Love the shapes in the background and I knew I had an embossing folder with similar shapes and used some white ink to accent the shapes. I cut the Happy Birthday (Joy Crafts) border die cut in half and adhered it along the sides of the image. The ribbon on the bottom is metallic like I had to use. On top I added stretchy lace.

Bubble Gum Sassy

Hey!

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring an Anything Goes 4 Kids challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids.

I decided to make a birthday card in a flower shape using Bubble Gum Sassy and colored her with Promarkers. All the edges are distressed with Walnut Stain distress ink. I used a circle and a scalloped circle nestabilities, a tickets die from Couture Creations (CO723532) and a Memory Box Butterfly Vine Border die. The sentiment is from a Dutch brand and it's made out of corc. To finish the card I adhered a few punched out butterflies and gems.

Snowman Pinup Sassy

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring two challenges, The Outlaws Challenges and Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge.

I used Snowman Pinup Sassy and I cropped and colored her with Promarkers. I used a lovely digi background paper by Michele R Designs from a paper pack called Vintage Teal Frost. I embossed a piece of dark blue linen cardstock and inked the raised snowflakes with frost white color box pigment ink. The sentiment is from my stash and in the middle I adhered a little punched out star. The snowflakes are also punch outs.

Masculine card

Hey!

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the new challenge at Cards und More. It's themed Cards for Men. I know is harder to make a card for men. Kraft and plaid work well for men's cards I guess.

I made this card using Buttercream Babe - Sassy Cake. She is colored with Promarkers.
The card base is Kraft cardstock, I matted it with a lovely plaid paper, on top of that I used corrugated cardstock from a package of cookies and on top of that I adhered a piece of scrap paper with a script pattern. The Happy Birthday border is from Joy Crafts.

Here's a card I made using Cleopatra Portrait. Love this image. I colored her with Promarkers and added gems to her earrings. The background was found on Google. I love Egypt. Have been there for two weeks back in 1997 and always felt a connection with Egypt. Round things are the die cut circles, earrings, gems in her earrings.

I made this card using this gorgeous SSD called "Pin Up Photographer Portrait". I colored her with Promarkers. On her glasses and the camera lens I added glossy accents, sadly it doesn't show on the photo's. I made the little insert card look like a Polaroid photo. The "Let's get photobombed" sentiment is one of the sentiments that comes with the image.
I used 3 die cuts (Happy Birthday, film strip, photo camera), a photo camera charm, a flatback pearl, white and black linen cardstock.

The card is a regular card that opens, but on the front is a pocket with a tag card in it.

To Someone I Love

This week Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Passion for Promarkers with their challenge #283 "To Someone I Love".

I created this card (don't know what it's called, if you know please tell me!) and used this gorgeous images called "Smooches". I colored it with Promarkers. By the way, this image is now until Feb. 20th available for only $1.00 in the SSD Store.  After coloring I added some glitter to the little red hearts and the eyelids. I used a hearts border die by Joy Crafts, embossed the red panels with a hearts embossing folder, added hearts washi tape, big gem heart, a sentiment and distressed the edges of the pink cardstock with fired brick distress ink to finish it.

Bottle Tag Card

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Crafter's Cafe with challenge #92  called Thank You Card.

I made a bottle tag card using SSD image France Honey. I colored the image with Promarkers. The tag is simple to make. I took a strip of kraft cardstock scored it at 1/3th of the tag and in the small part I punched a hole big enough to fit a bottle neck. I stamped with two different thank you stamps to make a background. At the bottom of the tag I used a edge punch and adhered a strip of dark bluw linen cardstock that I also had used under the image. Just below the fold I added a piece of stretchy lace and the butterflies are die cuts out of vellum.

I made a Christmas tag using Santa Pin Up. I colored this beauty with Promarkers and added some puffy snow, blue glitter and gave her a blue gem as an ear ring. Tag is made out of blue cardstock and I added two left over strips of Christmas cardstock. Also used white pompom ribbon, a white eyelet, white tassel and 2 little white jingle bells.
