Ava

Hey!!

Today I made a card using a Saturated Canary called Ava. I'm a big fan of Saturated Canary an love all of Krista's the images.

This time I asked my son if I could use some of his water balloons. He asked me "but mom you don't play with water balloons so where do you need it for?" When I told him I wanted it to use on a card he gave me the whole bag of balloons and said I could take whatever I needed. How sweet is that? I just needed a pink and cream balloon. It's the first time I work with kraft cardstock. Love it. I know it's very populair in card making, but I didn't know what to do with that color ;-) This card is mostly in Red, Soft Pink, Cream and Kraft colors. Love that combination. The image is colored with promarkers. I used some red and pink patterned cardstock with cream dots, cream rose, cream lacy borders, pink and cream dotted satin ribbon, die cuts, round pearls, pink heart pearl, flower punch and a dutch birthday sentiment.

Dutch Girl

CDACPC #19

I colored half of the surfboards with the new neon promarkers by letraset. They are waterbased and very pigmented. Love them.

Little Mermaid

Hey!

Today I made this card with a digi from Sassy Studio Designs (Mermaid Mandy) She was last weeks friday freebie at Paper Craft Planet.

I think she looks a lot like Disney's Little Mermaid Ariel. That's I colored her in these colors. The shell is has depth because of the folds I made allong de lines.

In Memoriam

Today it's his 10th birthday!
Sadly he died in a fire with his
little brother when he was 5.

I miss this cute guy.

Camperkaart

Hey!

Vandaag de camperkaart gemaakt voor Annette's Creafarm Duo-Challenge. Gezien het deze zomer niet echt super weer is heb ik tattie met een paraplu erbij gedaan en een tekst met "achter de wolken schijnt de zon".

Gelukkig waren het de dagen die wij op vakantie waren wel droog en zonnig, dus dat hebben we weer mooi meegepakt.

Criss Cross Card

Hey!

Today I made a criss cross card. Love those cards, but they become very heavy to send in the mail, so I make these cards to give instead of sending them.

The base color is light yellow and the patterend paper is darker and I love the combo. The stamp is colored with promarkers. I made a border with a doily lace edge punch. I made some flowers with a flower punch and some flatback pearls in it. Used brads, label die, sentiment and a satin ribbon bow.

Tilda with a cute lamb

Hey!

Today I made my 2nd christmas card this year.

This time I used a image from the latest christmas set from Magnolia. This is Tilda with a cute lamb and I colored her with promarkers.
The cardbase is white linen cardstock, I used 2 christmas patterned papers -love these-, green and red linen cardstock for the stars and holly branches (dies from Nellie Snellen). I used a dutch christmas sentiment that I adhered on a star and behind that I sticked a star pin, in the corner is a lovely silver corner and I distressed the edges of the card with fired brick distress ink.

The Olympics

Hey!!

Love the Olympics. We are proud of our Golden Girl Ranomi Kromowidjojo. She's a great swimmer.

I had to make this card in orange. I found between all my stamps a London postage stamp and made that the center of the ribbon. The medal is colored with yellow glitter pen and some glossy accents on top.
