LTC #109 - Color Inspired

Hey!

Here's my DT easel card for a new challenge at Love to Create. This week we're having a color inspired challenge. Our sponsor is Fred She Said.

I made a white on white card  only using colors on the image Marigolds & Morpho to make it pop. I colored with promarkers and adhered the butterfly like it just landed on the flowers. I adhered some flower stems as the butterfly's antlers and added some glitters.

Happy Easter

Hey!

Easter is near so time to make some easter cards.

I used sketch #59 from i {heart} sketches. The image is called Easter Bunny and is from FTHS.
I colored the image with Promarkers and used a Happy Easter sintiment from Magnolia stamps.
The doily is one I recycled from a cup of coffee and the butterfly is a die cut.

Rosie

Hey!

Here's a card with roses I made with a digi from Art by Mi Ran.

This image was a freebie to celebrate the start of the challenge blog. It's called Rosie. I think she's so cute.
I colored the image with Promarkers and added red paper roses (I made the rosebuds myself) and I crocheted a little red flower to adhere on her hat with some feathers. To add some bling (who doesn't love bling?) on her hair as earrings. I matted the image on a piece of black cardstock and I had cut a strip of the front of the card and adhered some washi tape to go under the image. Like how it turned out. Simple but elegant.

Pretty Pastels

Hey!

I made this card as inspiration. I used this loveley older SSD image called Effie Trinket Sassy (1) and I colored her with promarkers. This time I went for blues. The 2 background patterned papers are digi papers I got through the internet. I adhered some blue roses, gems, white feathers and I made a pin.

LTC #108 Bingo Card

Hey!

Welcome to the new challenge week at Love to Create. This weeks challenge is a bingo challenge.
I picked pearls-lace-blue. Our sponsor is StampArt Designs by Kathryne.

I got to work with this lovely image called Sapphire. Isn't she adorable? I colored her with promarkers and I adhered a peace of blue lace on her little skirt. Underneath the little girl I adhered 2 layers of lace (white and blue) and on top of that some white pearls. Even the flowers on her shoes and in her hair have a pearl.

Chocolate covered raisins...

Here's my card for this weeks sketch challenge at i {heart} sketches.

Theme was use sketch and/or the twist (monochromatic). I used both. Went for brown tones. I used FTHS image called Chocolate Box Birdbrain and colored it with promarkers. I adhered a big yellow button and tied a bow with brown embroidery floss.

SSD March Release Blog Hop

Hey!

Welcome on our new Sassy Studio Designs release blog hop. If you came from my sassy sister Jackie, you're at the right place. If not, go back to the SSD Blog and start at the top from the hop.

There are some lovely new images. The challenge is a Tic Tac Toe an to reuse something. My line was Ribbon-Flower-Reuse.
I got to work with this Get Well Soon image and used a plastic container from salted sticks. I made it into a fruit basket. The tag is reused corrugated paper from a package of cookies. The image is colored with promarkers and I crocheted a white flower and added a brad in the middle. On the bottom I adhered washi tape. The sentiment is dutch for get well soon.

Favorite Color Combo

Hey!

Here's my project for this weeks Dare to Be Sassy Thursday challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. This weeks theme is: It's up to you, choose your favorite color combo.

As Easter is nearby I wanted to make something to go with some delicious chocolate eggs. I made a plastic container I got into a lovely egg container and a lovely tag to go with it.

I used a cute image called Sassy Pin Up Bunny and colored her with Promarkers. My favorite color combo is Pink, Grey, Black and White. Always have loved this combo. Doesn't matter which grey or pink tones I just love the combo. On the top and bottom of the container I adhered some lovely washi tape.

I made a card using Glamourous Tiffany in Her Night Dress by Milk Coffee. I colored her with Promarkers. Isn't she gorgeous in her dress in red. Her earrings are rhinestones and in the top corners I adhered silver filigree corners. Underneath the image I attached washi tape.

St. Patty's Day

Hey!

Here's my project for DTBS #220 St. Patty's Day.

I made a wrapper for a chocolate bar and used the Clover Sassy image and colored it with Promarkers. I printed a clover background to go around the chocolate bar and made a little label from a lovely Noor Design die. Also used a scallop die, circle die, ribbon, bakers twine, charm, sentiment and a clover made out of 4 punched little green hearts and in the middle a little green rhinestone.

I got to play with Love is in the Air. The challenge is Anything Goes.
I colored the image with Promarkers and added a lovely lantern die cut from Marianne Designs, some die cuts of mini tickets from Memory Box and a dutch birthday sentiment. The ribbon is adhered and I attached a lovely brad in the middle of the bow.

Enjoy the simple things in life...

Hey!

Here's my card for the Free stamp of the month challenge at From the Heart Stamps.
I used sketch #56 from i {heart} sketches.

The image is called Hamlet PigWit think spring. I colored this cut little pig with promarkers and gave him googly eyes. I made a faux stitch line with a black gel pen and adhered a lovely flower button and yellow bakers twine. I love how great the background paper goes with this image.

Make it Fly...

Hey!

I made a card with Charlotte Sassy and of course butterflies. Love butterflies. Every butterfly has some glitter. Even the background paper has butterflies on it. I even recycled some corrugated paper from a package of cookies. I colored the image with promarkers. Added a pink gem as an earrings. I made the tag myself and tied a little bow in a piece of baker's twine.

I got to play with Tinker Sassy, isn't she cute.
The challenge is a recipe use 1 ribbon, 2 papers & 3 pearls/gems.
I colored Tinkerbell with Promarkers and added some glitter to her wings. Her flying trail is a piece of pearl string. The ribbon is adhered under the lovely sentiment and the 3 pearls are on her boots and ear.
